New Vision of Andhra Pradesh State Biodiversity Board
To play a pivotal role to effectively implement the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 and advise the government to facilitate the identification of biodiversity in ecosystems, landscapes, heritage sites, sacred groves, hotspots and niche areas with focus on endemic, rare, endangered, and threatened species by demarcation, protection, conservation, utilization, enhancement, research, value addition, product development, documentation, patenting, extension, and outreach of Biodiversity in the State of Andhra Pradesh aimed at the welfare of people and livestock. Developing a network of Biodiversity Management Committees, public and private academic, research, corporate, civil society and Non- governmental organizations, self-help groups, and volunteers and pass the rich biodiversity of the State to posterity.
